This depends on the issues you are facing, but clients usually see me once a week.
This is usually mutually agreed at the start of the treatment.

Yes.
No.
You can either call me to have a short chat, or send me an email detailing your issues, to see if we are a good fit (contact details here). If we proceed, we arrange a date and time for a first session.
We will elaborate on our first communication, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. You can also use this time to see if you feel safe, if you trust me, if I appear competent, if you note empathy, are you counting down the minutes until you can leave etc.
Depending on your issues or goals, I may ask you some questions about your past which are relevant to you now, or you may share information about your daily life, or the way you are feeling. I may also work on teaching you how to manage things like anger or anxiety. All of this depends on you. Therapy addresses the cause of distress and the way you act.
You will ultimately get more results from therapy if you actively participate; as this will help you bring what you learn in session back into your life. People that come are usually open to new ideas, and are ready take responsibility for their lives.
